Giving a life action
There are two ways to utilize life actions.
-
Place a
BP_LA_*blueprint in the level and have a life action reference it (typically for movement). -
Within the
PawnSpawn, set the Action toSBZAIAction Life Actionand set the gameplay effect class to the animation you want.
Patrols
-
Spawn
SBZPatrol Pointsaround the level. -
Set the pawn spawn action to
SBZAIAction Patrol. -
Set the Action order to
SBZAIOrder Patrol, then set the Start point to the start of the patrol.
Inside each patrol point, you set what the next patrol point is via the patrol point components. If you want more points, simply add more components. In the root component you can control Whether it randomizes what point to go to, what animation to play at each point, and how long the person waits at the location.
